[ Ange never really feels the need to broadcast anything over the journals, as anti-social as she is and all. But today she's perhaps feeling a bit more bored or a bit more annoyed than usual, probably because of some recent arrivals. So she has actually taken the effort to speak up for once now, her voice as flat and deadpan as it always is. ]

So, people here.. how much longer are you planning on wasting your time here? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have found any way out either, but I doubt spending our time here with parties and all sorts of similar ridiculous things is going to help us in any way. Don't tell me all of you have grown so used to this place that you're just complacent with the situation as it is now.

I definitely have no plans of sticking around here if I'd be given the choice. I have better things to do than wasting my time around here.. unlike some other people, apparently. [ a very slight sigh. ]

So I guess in the end it comes down to this.. do any of you honestly want to stick around in this bothersome place and party your days away? I suppose I'm actually a little genuinely curious.

On a different note.. if anyone has advice for avoiding certain people, I'd like to hear it.

People adapt to bad situations in different ways.

It's like people conveniently forget that we're held here against our will and experimented on.

It could also be that they're merely waiting for the opportune moment. Sometimes it's easier to allow others believe you've grown complacent while in reality that isn't the case.

N-No! I don't want to be here whilst my friends are back in my world! I know when we return it will be as though we never left... B-But why wait?!

[She's actually getting a little worked up over this, not that she minds how other people spend their time here. If anything she might get involved in some of the parties herself, but...]

Apparently there have been attempts to escape before, but none of them were successful... Uhm, perhaps if we worked together, we could find a new way out? I would have to do some more reading at the library...

You already know my opinion on that question. Although, haven't you considered going to the parties a way to get to know more people a little more? It wouldn't hurt to gain more allies around here, right?

It isn't about being complacent. People just want to be welcoming in a bad situation.

Kind of important to try to stay in good spirits when things are as bad as they are. And we do that in what ways we can.

You'd be surprised how many people are content to be locked up as long as they have some illusion of freedom.

Why do you care what people do around here? If you don't like it, just ignore it.

Have you considered that some people have far less to return home to? A few people here might have families now when they had nothing back home.
