[ Ange never really feels the need to broadcast anything over the journals, as anti-social as she is and all. But today she's perhaps feeling a bit more bored or a bit more annoyed than usual, probably because of some recent arrivals. So she has actually taken the effort to speak up for once now, her voice as flat and deadpan as it always is. ]

So, people here.. how much longer are you planning on wasting your time here? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have found any way out either, but I doubt spending our time here with parties and all sorts of similar ridiculous things is going to help us in any way. Don't tell me all of you have grown so used to this place that you're just complacent with the situation as it is now.

I definitely have no plans of sticking around here if I'd be given the choice. I have better things to do than wasting my time around here.. unlike some other people, apparently. [ a very slight sigh. ]

So I guess in the end it comes down to this.. do any of you honestly want to stick around in this bothersome place and party your days away? I suppose I'm actually a little genuinely curious.

On a different note.. if anyone has advice for avoiding certain people, I'd like to hear it.

She may be not as bad as Bernkastel, but she comes pretty close. If you want details.. she nearly forced my older brother to marry her even though he didn't want to, she nearly got him killed before and then later on got him in a completely numb state.

And that's just what she did to Battler onii-chan.. Aside from that she also cut off the heads of several people, including my own mother.

[ She's trying to keep it all deadpan, fairly stiff, but there's some of the sadness and anger at that slipping through just slightly. ]

He knows that Accelerator is on right path now (and he had to punch him out twice to set his mind straight), but he isn't sure if Erika had her own reasons for committing her crimes. Either way... He's quiet before slipping out a bitter laugh. His voice is quiet and a little shaky... But it ends firmly.]

Heheh... S.... such misfortune. A... all of those things.... To go that far is too ridiculous. I don't understand her reasoning to commit those acts... But if this girl harms anyone here, then I won't hesitate to crush her along with that witch. I will promise you that much.

Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not that much of a support, especially in this place where I can't even use most of my magic, but..

I'd feel bad if I would just let you rush ahead on your own and get yourself into trouble without involving myself with it as well.

Don't underestimate yourself. I'd say being someone's emotional support can be the best support of all. Helping out in fights doesn't always have to come down to assisting with a killer super ultimate technique or something you'd see out of a shounen manga.

And besides, I'd say you're a stronger person than myself.

... Ah, yeah, you're right. I guess I have always been more of a supporting role to start with. [ Like her only purpose in that game was to serve as motivation for Battler to fight on at the cost of her own life. ] The only difference is who I'm backing up here.

To be honest... Not really. I'm just a Level 0. In my world, that's the lowest rank an esper can get simply because they don't have any powers. Overall, I’m just a normal person who can laugh, cry and get hurt like anyone else.

... I might have Imagine Breaker to help me out in deep pinches, but there's still a lot about it that I don't know about. This puzzled Kamijou-san isn't even sure if he could call the power that resides in his right hand a "power".

... It's definitely a power. If it's something that can help you help yourself or others out, then it's definitely a power. [ See, she was being sort of nice there.. But she can't help but make her tone a bit more strict after that. ] That doesn't mean you should go and rely on it too much though, or overestimate yourself.

Pffft-- [He can't help but pause, then break out into laughter at that.] Wahahahaha... Heh... For such an aloof and strong-willed girl, you sure know how to worry about people a lot.

But don't worry about it! My right hand might sound convenient, but there's a bunch of downfalls to come along with it. Even if I didn't have Imagine Breaker, I would still be helping out others. No doubts in my mind about that.

It isn't anything like worrying. [ But that's not quite as deadpan as usual, there's perhaps a slight hint of tsun in her voice. Just slightly. ] I'd just hate for you to run off into trouble just because I told you that. I'd be responsible and I'd rather avoid that.

Either way, this 'Imagine Breaker'.. What exactly does it do? And what are these downfalls you're talking about? If you don't mind sharing the details, that is.

My right hand? Well, it's specialty is in negating anything supernatural like magic, psychic and divine as long as I can touch it. But there are certain things that can't be fully negated. Whenever I get into a situation like that, I just redirect the power towards somewhere else other than at me.

And... The downfalls are a lot. One of the main things is that as long as I have the Imagine Breaker, I'll always have bad luck for as long as I live. Since it can reject blessings and miracles, I don't get any of that in my direction.

[ That last part hits a bit close to home though, but even though he has that too.. He's still.. well, him. Optimistic and all, quite different from her. And since she gets so tangled up in the thought, she can't even form a really good response. ] ... That must be pretty tough.

Still, I want to learn more about it's true nature... Since I'm the only one who has this power, I need to know why I've been gifted with it. Maybe I can dig up some facts here if it's possible or whenever I get back home.

Saying it would make me happy might be going a bit too far, but it would definitely satisfy me. My search for it has been a quest for self-satisfaction all along, after all, I realise that much.

But no matter whether it's good or bad, I want to find out and know the truth regardless.

I think it's a better thing to have that sort of self-satisfaction though. At least you're still helping out other people, so they can be happy. I'm sure you've made a lot of people feel grateful over time.
