[ Ange never really feels the need to broadcast anything over the journals, as anti-social as she is and all. But today she's perhaps feeling a bit more bored or a bit more annoyed than usual, probably because of some recent arrivals. So she has actually taken the effort to speak up for once now, her voice as flat and deadpan as it always is. ]

So, people here.. how much longer are you planning on wasting your time here? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have found any way out either, but I doubt spending our time here with parties and all sorts of similar ridiculous things is going to help us in any way. Don't tell me all of you have grown so used to this place that you're just complacent with the situation as it is now.

I definitely have no plans of sticking around here if I'd be given the choice. I have better things to do than wasting my time around here.. unlike some other people, apparently. [ a very slight sigh. ]

So I guess in the end it comes down to this.. do any of you honestly want to stick around in this bothersome place and party your days away? I suppose I'm actually a little genuinely curious.

On a different note.. if anyone has advice for avoiding certain people, I'd like to hear it.

You're going to make people upset if you say that. They have been putting much effort into these gatherings since before you even arrived.

If they're upset by it, they can just come and complain to me about it. I'm just stating my opinion on the matter.

Since they've been doing this stuff since long before I even got here, means they've been spending time on that rather than being productive.. No wonder everyone is still stuck here.

Then why not do something about it? Complaining is equally unproductive. It's no wonder you're still stuck here if you just complain about being stuck here.

If you have to know, I've already been looking around plenty and searching for information. It's just that I have to acknowledge in this sort of situation that I can't do it on my own, unfortunately.

You never were meant to be a detective on the gameboard. Perhaps you should examine the rules of this board before you figure out how to break it.

This place and back home are different. Besides, I don't have anything better to do than that either way in this place, whereas back home I still have something to do.

That isn't for me to tell you, nor can I even solidify anything. All I have are theories, so you make some yourself.

That's the only reason I need. Is there still any reason for me to exist other than that? Stuck here or back home, that much doesn't even matter anymore.. I'm nothing more than a toy either way. Then I'd rather have the road that at least still gives me something that's worth it.

Then why not stay here and enjoy the parties. If it really isn't different at all.

Consider the following: it is not the Malnosso who brought us to this world. They brought us under the barrier, but not onto the gameboard. They have, however, learned how to manipulate the gameboard in the time they have been here and seek a way to escape it as we do.

I wish to find the truth of this board. Then I will crush it.

I can't say that's not an interesting scenario, I guess. So you're proposing that the Malnosso were subjected to some other force that brought them here as well, and they, in turn, try to manipulate us? If there are going to be even more levels like that, it's going to just get ridiculous.

Which is why this board needs to be explored more. We are far away from the checkmate that would crush this field. I've become interested in the time I have been here. You should know well that I never surrender.

Yeah, I know that much. If you've become interested in the truth behind this place, then I can say for sure that the ones hiding that truth are going to have a very bothersome persistent opponent.
