[ Ange never really feels the need to broadcast anything over the journals, as anti-social as she is and all. But today she's perhaps feeling a bit more bored or a bit more annoyed than usual, probably because of some recent arrivals. So she has actually taken the effort to speak up for once now, her voice as flat and deadpan as it always is. ]

So, people here.. how much longer are you planning on wasting your time here? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have found any way out either, but I doubt spending our time here with parties and all sorts of similar ridiculous things is going to help us in any way. Don't tell me all of you have grown so used to this place that you're just complacent with the situation as it is now.

[ Sorry, Luceti, she's a bit of a party pooper indeed. What is having fun. ]

I definitely have no plans of sticking around here if I'd be given the choice. I have better things to do than wasting my time around here.. unlike some other people, apparently. [ a very slight sigh. ]

So I guess in the end it comes down to this.. do any of you honestly want to stick around in this bothersome place and party your days away? I suppose I'm actually a little genuinely curious.

[ It looks like she's going to cut it off right there and then, but she seems to think of something as she starts a filter instead. ]

[ locked away from [livejournal.com profile] kakeravoyager and [livejournal.com profile] investigatings ]

On a different note.. if anyone has advice for avoiding certain people, I'd like to hear it.

[ A bitter edge creeps into her tone as she speaks on. ] This place has a rather crude sense of humor as to who gets to arrive or leave here.

Well even outside of a situation like this working in a team can be very beneficial. [But she'll leave it there. She's read enough books to know not everyone appreciates teamwork the same way.] It's good to know you'll give teamwork a try in this case though. I'm sure no one will let you down!

Eheh, yes, he's an incredibly selfless person. He has the personality of someone out of a fantasy novel at times! [Past the rpg terminology and what not.]

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-21 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
I-I see, I'm very sorry to hear that. But the people here seem to be very nice, so I doubt anyone will betray you. [She thinks so anyway.] Uhm, I won't betray you at any rate, if that's any consolation?

I'm sure if he found the proper costume and a horse to ride on he would fit the part quite well!

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-21 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Well no, I guess not... But if you ever suspected someone of betraying you at a later date then I could find out for you. All I would need is their name and I'd be able to tell you right away what they were planning! Regardless, thank you for believing me.

Aheh, wouldn't that be funny though? [She can't help but giggle, it'd be funny for everyone to see and Touma would probably enjoy it himself to boot.]

I-I'm not just restricted to a person's true intentions. My artifact allows me to read other peoples minds you see-- [Oh, people here wouldn't know about her sort of artifacts huh?] Rather, my artifact is a book which shows the thoughts of other people on its pages! I used it a lot in my own world for finding out information, so I could probably use it here too for the same thing.

Uhm, well... [It would be pretty embarassing.] He might do? Though I don't think Touma-san is the sort of person to mind getting a little embarrassed though, maybe.

D-Do you think so!? [If she didn't have this artifact she would feel pretty useless...] Well I used to be able to read someone's mind w-without knowing their name or even having to open the book! Though it seems what allowed me to do that hasn't arrived here yet.

[If the guys from her world are anything to go off--] I think I'd feel worse for the girls involved than Touma-san, eheh. Though it was probably embarrassing for both parties in some way!

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
You never know, there might be people here who can do something similar. Th-Though no, it's not exactly a common ability to have. [...] L-Lots of people seem to want to read minds...

That's a good point! [Oh God. What if...] I-It's a good thing Rakan-san didn't show up there. He's... [A pervert. A very confident pervert who seems to get away with all his perverted acts relatively easily.] unique!

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Even now, with this ability, I don't feel as though it's natural to read minds! I feel as though I'm invading another person's privacy if I'm not reading their mind with a good reason. Inside your mind is one of the few places you're safe at times after all. Mind reading must be a rare ability across all sorts of worlds then, I-I don't think I was ever aware of anyone else in my home world who could do it.

Uhm, y-yes. [Its a nicer way of saying 'odd'!] An interesting way to describe an interesting person I suppose!

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
O-Of course not! I only use it in dire situations, like during fights. Oh, or if there's a person who possesses extremely useful information that would benefit my friends! [...] It can still be a little daunting at times, knowing that I could find out anything about a person in a second.

There were lots of individuals with magical powers in my world. Vampires, hanyous, all sorts of magical creatures, and then all the others who could cast magic too... But some people you knew liked to pretend they could read minds? Wh-Why would they do that? Were they trying to trick you?

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Despite being an avid bibliophile, she's never considered how mind reading plays out in other scenarios. Now she has however...] O-Oh my yes!! I'm quite thankful I have the choice! I feel just terrible for those people who can do nothing else but hear the thoughts of other people and suffer, even if they are in a novel.

O-Oh... [Those sorts of people must be annoying.] Luckily, most people I've seen who act like that generally have real mystery surrounding them to back up their actions.

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Much like a fable then! I-I'm sure if people really did think through what they wished for then they would be more specific in what they say when they ask.

Hmm... I suppose acting mysterious is unnecessary when applied to real life. Some people just enjoy be evasive I guess! [Or annoying.]

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Eheh, maybe, though I'm sure not all wish granters insist on seeing through all the cracks and loopholes in each person's requests. Perhaps a better moral would be 'be happy for what you have', rather than wanting more and more.

Sick kicks? Uhm... If you don't mind me inquiring, who is this person? Th-They're not here are they?

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Fairy godmothers, or genies found deep in caves underground at any rate! B-But you have met people who can grant wishes in your world? It's a shame to hear they're the poor sort of wish granters.

Th-That's terrible, I don't see why anyone would go out of their way to annoy someone! If there's someone here I should avoid then I would appreciate knowing.

[identity profile] alreadyknowsyou.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
So you've been speaking from experience then. I-I'm sorry to hear that! I think even the children who hear those sorts of stories for the first time take them for granted. The prospect of having any wish you want granted for the first time would be an overwhelming opportunity that you would have to take!

Bernkastel, right. I won't forget her name. [...] Cat's tail? Quite a distinctive feature, I'm sure it'll be easy to keep an eye out for her!
