[ People. People everywhere all of a sudden. And Ange doesn't know the cause for it, nor does she particularly feel like thinking about it right now, so she does what she does best.

Being anti-social.

Ange is mostly planning on finding some quiet place where she doesn't have to stay inside all day yet doesn't have to face the crowds either, but obviously it isn't really working with so many people all over the village all of a sudden. So the chance is big that rather than avoiding the crowd, she'll only run into people more and more as time goes on. Maybe there's even some familiar faces. Or familiar trollfaces, considering the kind of people Ange knows. ]

[ well, that's better than dealing with a hysterical kid.. besides, it does seem sort of like Minato to do that. And this is Mininato and all. ]

... Are you hungry? [ she can't take him back home after all since Minato himself is probably there, but leaving him here alone isn't an option either. ]

[he just stands there until his stomach growls, and then he slowly nods again.]

[ the quiet type no matter the age, huh.. ]

We could get some food, if you want. Is there anything you like?

[Yes, though... He's a bit quieter than he would have been a few months ago...

Hamburgers.

[repudiate]

Hamburgers..? Sure, let's go get some.

[ a slight nod, and.. there's a moment of hesitation, as if she isn't sure if she should do this, but.. then she slowly offers out a hand to the kid. ]

... We should make sure you won't get lost again at least, right?

[prearcana]

[He looks at the hand for a long moment - as if, maybe, questioning why she'd do that - but finally nods and takes it.]

[ D'aw, Mininato. Don't worry, Ange is just going to try and navigate her way through the crowds here with you to find one of the restaurants.. ]

[It's been a little while since anyone took him to a place he wanted to go to, so he's following quietly, while glancing around at the crowds.]

[repudiate]

[ After a little while they arrive at one of the restaurants, and after a quiet nod she leads him inside, towards a table as they sit down. ]

... Do you go out for dinner often, Minato-kun? [ might as well try to make some small talk to keep the boy from being so quiet.. ]

[prearcana]

[...well... he used to, sometimes. But now, the closest is being handed some random fast food to eat quietly by himself.

So he shakes his head.]

[ s-sob, poor kid.. ]

Then it must be a little weird to sit here now, huh? [ it feels.. so weird.. to be the one to make conversation this much.. ]

[prearcana]

[He thinks about this, then nods again, very solemnly.

...Sorry Ange. It will take more than that to get him talking again.]

[ She will never think Minato is already quiet.. compared to this, it's nothing.. except when she forgets when the event is over. But for a few moments it's just quiet since.. well, it's awkward, okay, Ange is not used to having to play the social part, but she doesn't want it to be so awkward for the poor kid, so.. ]

Is there anything else you like? I mean, other than just food or hamburgers.

[prearcana]

[He just shakes his head... She's already buying him a hamburger he can't ask for her to entertain him too.]

You're sure?

[ wow, maybe she's trying to be nice, she doesn't seem that scary, right.. ]

[prearcana]

[It's not that she's scary it's that... he can't think of anything to answer. Most of his interests were really Minako's interests. Without her to drag him around... there's no point to it, right? And he's too little to have developed that many unique interests anyway.]

I like Featherman.

[repudiate]

Featherman..? [ repeating the name, almost a little curious.. well, that might at least get him to talk a little, right? ]

That sounds like some kind of superhero, doesn't it?

[prearcana]

Superhero team.

[You get a :| for not knowing what Featherman is... but then again you are a girl, so.]

[ a completely-isolated-from-society-girl either way, okay. ]

It's a whole team? And they have their own tv show, or something like that?

[nod nod. He used to watch it religiously.]

[ See, now she has him talking about something he likes, that's already better. ]

And they fight off the bad guys? Sorry, I've never seen it before.

[he tilts his head a little at the second statement.] Why not?

[repudiate]

Hmm.. [ For a moment she ponders out loud, to make him seem like she's thinking about the answer, but she's actually more thinking if she should tell him the truth.. ... well, it can't hurt. ]

I just haven't really had much time or opportunities to watch tv. They didn't have any for the students at my boarding school.

[prearcana]

[All grown up and going to a boarding school... Adults sure have a lot of responsibilities. Minato nods, accepting that.]

[ She's trying to recall her own conversation about Minato's past too here, but.. it's difficult to tell how old he is right now either way to place him somewhere in that context. So maybe just.. sneakily find out, somehow.. ]

You probably have a tv back home though, right?
