[ People. People everywhere all of a sudden. And Ange doesn't know the cause for it, nor does she particularly feel like thinking about it right now, so she does what she does best.

Being anti-social.

Ange is mostly planning on finding some quiet place where she doesn't have to stay inside all day yet doesn't have to face the crowds either, but obviously it isn't really working with so many people all over the village all of a sudden. So the chance is big that rather than avoiding the crowd, she'll only run into people more and more as time goes on. Maybe there's even some familiar faces. Or familiar trollfaces, considering the kind of people Ange knows. ]

[ See, now she has him talking about something he likes, that's already better. ]

And they fight off the bad guys? Sorry, I've never seen it before.

[he tilts his head a little at the second statement.] Why not?

Hmm.. [ For a moment she ponders out loud, to make him seem like she's thinking about the answer, but she's actually more thinking if she should tell him the truth.. ... well, it can't hurt. ]

I just haven't really had much time or opportunities to watch tv. They didn't have any for the students at my boarding school.

[All grown up and going to a boarding school... Adults sure have a lot of responsibilities. Minato nods, accepting that.]

[repudiate]

[ She's trying to recall her own conversation about Minato's past too here, but.. it's difficult to tell how old he is right now either way to place him somewhere in that context. So maybe just.. sneakily find out, somehow.. ]

You probably have a tv back home though, right?

[there's... a tellingly long pause.]

They have one.

[ ah, yes.. 'they' already says something, although it would be insensitive to ask whether they are his parents or not either way since she's sure they are not yet she's not supposed to know.. so she just skirts around it. ]

But you can watch the shows you like on it..?

[Nod...] Sometimes.

[repudiate]

[ ... Might as well try and be a little more straightforward.. ]

Are they nice to you? [ said pretty casually, though, as if it isn't that important of a question. ]

[He blinks, and then... nods.

They're nice. Not his real family... but nice.]

[repudiate]

Well.. that's good. [ After all, she never really got along with her new caretaker - or rather, aunt, but.. that was her own fault too, for at least some part. ]

It wouldn't be very fun to live with them if they're not nice, after all.

[prearcana]

[...He nods.

Honestly, it's not fun. Not for him, and, judging from his limited six year old knowledge, probably not for them either. But it's how things are, now.]

[ Don't nod with an expression like that, Minato, nobody will believe that.. ]

.. Is something still wrong?

[prearcana]

[He hesitates, but then shakes his head firmly. Nothing's wrong. This is how things are... People die and the world moves on. That's what his head tells him so it must be true. And not bothering anyone is the path of least resistance.]
