repudiate: (so my darling; give me)

one。 audio。

[ There are a few slight moments of silence - perhaps, if you listen closely enough, you can hear some slight sounds of nature from the forest's edge in the background - before a girl speaks up with a quite deadpan (and calm, considering the situation) tone. ]

Am I being reduced to this again this soon already? I really must be popular with all of you witches. So, which one of you do I have the honor of dealing with this time? Bernkastel again, or even that Featherine witch? ... Either way, you can come out and start laughing now. If you're looking for your cue, this is it.

[ She pauses for a moment, as if she actually does expect someone to pop up. But when it doesn't happen, she just continues talking. ]

It's pretty inconsiderate to let someone waiting after dragging them in, you know. Although I guess I should expect as much from the lot of you.

And what's up with these wings? 'Sure, let's give her pink wings this time just to see the look on her face, ahahaha' or whatever, right? I'm not laughing, but surely you predicted as much.

... Any normal person would start to think I'm going insane by now, like I'm talking to myself. Ah.. it's useless, it's all useless. Does anyone who's not me feel like speaking up already?

Please don't forget my heart. Without love 'it' cannot be seen!

[She cackles once more. It was really amusing to her. That one line repeated so many times through that story...so why didn't it apply to her? ...Well it didn't matter really. She had no love. There was no reason to have love. But anyone who looked at her for the first time and thought she was a good witch...she has to really laugh at those people one day like this.]

Yes, they are guarding it. Even from you, Ange. How sad that even your own brother chooses to toy with you and not show you the truth you yearn for. Yet I'm the bad guy in this story?

Battler is really unreliable isn't he. Don't worry, Ange. Didn't I already say it? I revealed the truth to you just as you wished. There is no need for you to wait on his empty promises, like a damsel. I've already granted your miracle.

My intentions have always been pure. To crush that board into dust and move on to the next. I have never intended on doing anything otherwise. Your wish was just picked up for my convenience, but I have no intentions on abandoning you half-way through just because you had to throw yourself away for the sake of that idiot.

My goals are already accomplished. So are yours.

Yeah that's right. Too bad it was all for nothing, seeing as he decidedly spared Beatrice at the last moment like a fool. Lambda was right about men being fooled by a woman's tears.

Is that what you think? I'm sure the fossil told you that Beatrice was killed in the very next game. Prolonging her existence was absolutely unnecessary.

I told you already right? Featherine was my teacher long before many fragments were even born. She's also incredibly ancient and should have her body dusted and put in a museum, for children to point at her in wonder.

Likely revolving how nice to was to hear you tell her stories and mocking you for not understanding a story, right? Hahahahaha that damn bitch staying in a room with her for a minute is like being in Hell for an eternity. Well she's dead now thankfully. At least until the next time she decides to get out of her coffin.

Oh yeah, just great! She gave me a gameboard and told me that if I did what she wanted she would waste away peacefully. How could I not take such a great offer. Good riddances to her, until the next time she rears her head. Maybe I'll swipe that disc around her head and use it as a toothpick.

Polite as ever. Fine then. But, if you do something that catches my eye don't be surprised. I've made a habit to not sleep anymore after being here so long.

< Cool. >

[She laughs heartily.]

I'll see you the next time you decide to jump off a building.

I'm not a fan. I will bring some parasol candies to gouge into your eyes though.

[She laughs again and shuts the book.]
