[ Okay, so apparently nobody is entirely sure what happened to yesterday, but.. that only makes her feel worse about it. Regardless of whether they did or didn't celebrate Keiichi's birthday, it's still no fair if none of them can even remember it, right?

[ By the following day even Ange can realise something is.. well, slightly off. Aside from the fact that nobody seems to remember the 1st, there's also the fact that a lot of people are moving around and.. well, she has no clue what's going on. ]

Is this some sort of huge weird April Fool's joke tradition here in Luceti?

First off there's that day that nobody seems to remember, although those seem to at least be more common, and now there's also a lot of lost people or something like that? A lot of people moving around, at least.. [ sigh. ] Apparently spring fever really does exist if it affects so many of you, huh?

... Oh, Atsuro, Kouki, I'm coming over to check up on the two of you with all of this going on, okay? Let me join in for dinner or something like that too for once.

[ After that message Ange will leave the house for the afternoon and go out into the village - although housemates are free to hit her up before she leaves, of course.

There's something slightly off about her though. For once she's not wearing the hairbobbles she usually always wears, and any sign of the Ushiromiya one-winged eagle on her clothes is gone as well - the band missing from her sleeve, the ring on her finger gone too. Aside from that, it does really mostly seem like it's Ange, though, if not just a little more social. Still not by a whole lot, though.

Feel free to encounter her anywhere in the village on her way to community building 7 where Atsuro and Kouki are staying, or in the community building itself. Eventually she'll definitely end up at the apartment though, knocking on the door. ]

[ Well, she recognizes Kouki, of course! So she just nods, not exactly.. cheerful - since Ange is never fully cheerful - but slightly more positive than her usual deadpan. ]

Kouki, good afternoon. [ and there's Atsuro's voice too, so.. ] And it's me, Atsuro. Ange. I decided to come over with all the weird stuff going on the past few days.

[He nods back, before looking between his friend and Ange. There's a bit of a questioning look he's giving to Atsuro, before turning his attention back to Ange.]

Is it related to the people not remembering that missing day?

[With that, he'll go ahead and get up from the couch and walk over toward the door. He doesn't pay much mind to Kouki's questioning look, and just figures that it was one related to that missing day. Because really, what would be so confusing about Ange coming over?! Come on.]

[ She nods at Kouki and gives a small nod at Atsuro. ]

Yeah, it's sort of related to that. That's part of it, at least, the other part is the fact that people are acting weird now. [ ... ] One of my housemates turned into a pony, so I at least wanted to make sure you two didn't go down the same path.

A pony?

[He looks surprised.] I think I'm pretty much normal, beside not remembering that one day.

[It would be funny to see an Overlord Pony.]

A pony? [What the hell... Well, considering Atsuro's not a pony..] Like Kou said, I don't think I'm really affected, aside from that whole missing day thing.

Kouki's comment kind of throws him off though, which is why he gives him a raised eyebrow and a confused look.]

[ Rude, Atsuro! Rude, Kouki! Rude people all around her.. But at least Atsuro is here now who does know who she is, so this feels easier than talking over the journals about it like earlier. ]

Yeah, it's me. Ange Kobayashi, you remember me, right? [ Is this what he meant with 'this is kinda a surprise'? But surely she left enough of an impression on him for her to be remembered.. ]

I mean, I might not live with the two of you, but I visit plenty.

Ange Kobayashi... [He knows her first name from Atsuro, but her surname doesn't ring any bells.] Are you sure? How did you know us?

[...What the heck, Kouki? Does he really not remember Ange? Man, this is weird.

Atsuro glances at Ange, giving her a "wtf is going on" expression before looking back at Kou.]

We met during middle school, and she was with us during the Lockdown, remember?

[ Yeah, Ange is so unsure about this too, but when she sees Atsuro's expression she just raises her shoulders as if to say she doesn't have a clue either. People are acting weird all over, apparently it got to Kouki too.. ]

Sure, a lot of stuff happened then, but it wasn't enough to forget me, I'm sure.. Especially since Atsuro does remember. I'm 100% sure.

...Sorry, but I don't remember you from the Lockdown.

[He sound apologetic, but confused. Is it his memory, or theirs? He glance at Atsuro.]

As far as I know, you met Keisuke in middle school, not Ange.

...Huh? Seriously?

[What the heck, Kou? Atsuro would think he's just kidding, but from the tone of his voice... it doesn't seem like that's the case. Uhh.]

I met both Keisuke and Ange in middle school. Right? [Glancing over at Ange..]

.. Yeah. [ her response is a little delayed since she's thinking about all of this too, and she's mostly confused-- why wouldn't Kouki recognize her, he normally always does, right? Did whatever's going on in the village affect him too..? ]

We met since we both had.. well, certain circumstances. [ diplomatic for once without saying 'being bullied'. ] And it sort of grew from there, right?

So you met Ange in middle school, like with Keisuke...and she's also with us in the lockdown?

[Did they also save her from death, using the Laplace Mail as a guide? But honestly speaking, the contradictions between their memories is the most important thing to handle.

[He nods as Ange explains, and glances at her for a moment when she mentions those "certain circumstances." Man, it's been so long since then and they have known each other for a while now, huh? ...Or so Atsuro thinks, anyway.

His expression may be becoming less confused and more serious at this point, really. How could Kouki forget this kind of thing? Is he sick...?]

[ Well, Atsuro already answered the question, so that leaves Ange some time to think about all of this, but.. geez, it's difficult. Besides, Keiichi had already been acting so weird this morning too, and then there was Ryoji as a pony.. ]

Kouki, are you sure the Malnosso didn't mess with your memories? Judging from my housemates there must be some experiment going on, so it could be that. [ There's no way he would completely forget about her otherwise, right? ]

They could've messed with my memories...on the other hand, it could be the same for you and Atsuro.

[That's right. On the other side of that question, Atsuro and Ange could be affected.]

Oh, there's an experiment going on? [Atsuro hadn't talked to many people at all today so far, so he wouldn't know, really...] I... guess that's possible though. But I don't think my memories have been tampered with. Or at least, it sure doesn't feel that way.

[..Which, of course, is the same feeling people get during all experiments. Gah.]

But even so, shouldn't it be 'majority rules'? Something should be more likely the more people believe it.

I don't think majority rules would apply though, considering that this is Luceti, and there's a chance that we're both affected and Kou isn't.
