[ she can't even bring herself to use voice for this - just sending this message out in general is already embarassing enough, but she can't think of it by herself, so.. have some written text, Luceti. ]
So, let's say there's a person who did a lot for you, and even though you still can't really take it in you feel like you should at the very least try to do something back for them in return. Since it's only natural, and maybe you want to show you care as well or whatever. Something like that.
But all the things they did are so big combined that you can't even start to think of something that would be big enough or of equal value to give in return. So.. what should you even do in a situation like that?
... Purely hypothetical, I mean.
......
This is stupid.

He busies himself with something as she picks up the blankets again.]
Thank you for coming with me to watch the snow, Ange. It was fun.
[Even with this awkward ending, he still enjoyed it a lot.]
no subject
... Yeah. It was.. fun. [ and it's actually genuinely meant. ] So I'll have to thank you instead for being the one who invited me to do it with you, right?

[He smiles at her.]
It's only fair since we both had fun and are thankful for it.
no subject
We'll thank each other and we'll be even again.
no subject
We will be even? Is this a competition?

And I mentioned it often enough, right? It's like a battle of two very stubborn people. 'Even' is the closest we can get to some sort of resolution to it.
no subject
[There's experience ringing in his voice as he says that.]
Yeah, that makes sense.
no subject
... Don't worry about it either way. I don't mind you being a stubborn guy, you know.
no subject
I know. And I like you being a stubborn girl as well. So everything is fine, right?
