[ she can't even bring herself to use voice for this - just sending this message out in general is already embarassing enough, but she can't think of it by herself, so.. have some written text, Luceti. ]

So, let's say there's a person who did a lot for you, and even though you still can't really take it in you feel like you should at the very least try to do something back for them in return. Since it's only natural, and maybe you want to show you care as well or whatever. Something like that.

But all the things they did are so big combined that you can't even start to think of something that would be big enough or of equal value to give in return. So.. what should you even do in a situation like that?

... Purely hypothetical, I mean.

......

This is stupid.

Yeah, leaving how you feel aside, something sentimental but simple is best.

An objective gift is nice, but probably not ideal.

I'm the last person the suggest that you have a responsibility to someone else for their feelings, particularly romantic ones, because that's stupid - but if you like them enough to thank them then you've probably shouldered some of that responsibility of concern before now. Sure it's annoying and irrational or whatever, but ignoring it would be criminal too.

I... am saying that to give an effective gift, you need to confront how you feel about this person and react to it accordingly. For yourself, at least.

Isn't it customary to introduce yourself first, or is the anon thing going to get in the way there?

Either way, it's Haruhi Suzumiya.
